Question by Jeffrey: Can I take out enough student loans to pay for medical school and my mortgage?
I plan on attending medical school starting in 2012 to be a chiropractor. The only problem is I have already started my adult life. I am 23 with a full time job and a mortgage. I don’t feel I will be able to keep working full time and attend medical school at the same time. Therefore I don’t have much choice other than hoping my student loans can be used to cover my mortgage and utilities as well as my education. Can this be done or should I explore other options?

That would be one hell of a big student loan. I don’t know of any loan program that would cover medical school (pricey as it is) AND house payments. I’d be surprised if you were even approved for a student loan.
